Roots is an ecofarm & community centre that was founded in 2012. We are using creative & affordable farming techniques and our goal is to produce enough vegetables, fruit, chicken, and fish to support a family of 5 year round while our small growing space acts as a Learning Lab in our village. We partner with local churches as we serve our community and pray that Roots will be used as a bridge for authentic relationships between Khmer believers as they serve areas around us. We love working with volunteers and hosting classes (ESL, DIY water filtration system, aquaponics, music, art, etc). That way people in our village can more than just scrape by, but thrive, as the church grows.
Steve & Mandi manage the centre, B&Bs, and volunteers, while supporting local churches in the Kep/Kampot area. We are here long-term and solely for the Gospel to take root.
